I remember what measure i used to value our friendship, i used to think that our joint ease in conversation, our abilty to talk over the top of each other but still understand what each one is saying and our comfort with physical intimacy all showed a firm friendship.
However, I now truely believe that when you drink to a state of complete incapacitation and have to rely on others you realise who your true friends are. Every friend will hold your hair back and get you water, you undressed me, soaked my dress and got me into a new one, touched up my make-up, rubbed my backs and arms inbetween throwing up, pushed the boy i like to go and get me macca’s, ensured i didn’t say anything embarrising to the boy i liked, cleaned up my vomit, put me to bed and left me a note telling me not to worry and that i didn’t make a fool out of myself.
You did what you do on a daily basis, love me and i am forever grateful.
