I dreamt of a girl who would share stories with me as we’d talk late into the night,
A girl who’d hold my hands when things got tough, and reassured me that everything would be alright
I dreamt of a girl that would kiss me in front of all her friends,
And tell them that he’s the one, the one that she’s going to stay with till the very end
I dreamt of a girl who’d make me feel like I was on top of the world,
A girl that I’d brag to everyone about,
and point her out and say that “yep, she’s the girl”

I dreamt of a girl that would do all these things for me,
But I don’t have to dream anymore…because you made that dream into a reality
