So my boyfriend and I were talking about the heating blanket I have on my bed.
“Just don’t go to sleep with it on ok?” he said.
“You’re supposed to. Why” I responded.
“You could get burned or something” was his reasoning.
We exchanged a little more about it, and then I asked him, “would you still love me if I got a serious burn on my body (excluding face)” *authors note: I excluded face because I don’t sleep with my face under a blanket, therefore making it impossible to be burned by it. Not because I’m vain.*
Instantly he replied, “Even more, you’d need me too”
“too or to?”
“both”
and then the tears filled my eyes. The feeling of knowing that someone loves me so much, that no matter what may come about to alter my physical appearance, he’d love me even more. I can’t begin to describe how it feels because I can’t even comprehend how amazing it is.
God has truly blessed me with the most incredible guy in the universe.
