Well, I see your point and I do agree that creators should get credit for their work, but there are areas where we disagree. For one thing, I think that linking back to weheartit or google would be the same as just not crediting it at all, because those are just sites where the photo is somewhere else without credit. Also, the reason why I allow people to submit photos that aren’t theirs as long as they say so is because I believe that if you are going to put something on the internet, you should expect it to be shared. There are millions of photos on the web that no one knows the origin of, but that’s just what happens when something is shared on the internet. The purpose of the caption “*Photo isn’t mine” is so that those who do know who the photo belongs to can tell me without getting angry and demanding it be taken down. There’s a difference between “Just so you know, that photo belongs to Billy Bob.” and “YOU FUCKING BITCH THAT’S BILLY BOB’S PHOTO YOU’RE TAKING CREDIT FOR I WILL STAB YOU IN THE EYE IF I SEE IT THERE FOR ONE SECOND LONGER.” It’s just so there’s a little less hate around here and a little more understanding.

I’ll probably be opening an application system sometime this week for anyone who wants to help. But if you don’t mind me asking, what college are you going to? I’m doing a college search right now and also want to major in psychology, so I’m purely curious. :)
