Note: I am a reaction writer if you couldn’t tell from my post “Why Do People Go Into LDR’s?”
So I was looking at this quote
“I want to love someone whose heart has been broken so that he knows exactly how it feels and won’t break mine.”
It tells you a lot about the person who wrote it. They just don’t want to be the victim again. But what’s to say she won’t break a guy’s heart for a variety of reasons? And I’m not talking about those cases where the guy is a terrible boyfriend, but other instances when it’s dependent on how the girl feels—he’s not what you expected, he’s too this or that, or no fireworks. What happens when you break his heart and he didn’t want that? That isn’t fair either is it?
If you want love, you have to be willing to take a chance. You have to be willing to get hurt because nothing will be perfect. You also have to not be afraid. Heartbreak is painful, but like all pain, it is temporary. In the words of my friend “love is a battle”.
