This is my boyfriend Isaac and I.
We knew each other through mutual friends for three years before we started dating 8 months ago. He is currently enlisted in the Marines, and we are awaiting for him to leave to boot.
He picked me up when I was at my lowest. I would smoke weed every day and my A’s and B’s dropped to D’s and F’s. I was giving up on everything around me, and he came back into my life at the perfect spot. He got me to focus on my schooling and I eventually quit smoking because he made my life better. He was there when I really need someone and everyone else seemed to disappear. He would listen to me vent about everything, and wipe away my tears when I cried. Even after 8 months, we still have that silly, playful type of love. We can joke around with each other and just be ourselves.
We are not perfect, but everything we have been through has truly made us a strong couple. He is literally my best friend and the love of my life all in one.
We do not know were life will take us after the Marines are apart of us, but we know we want to be together.
