They say that when you've liked someone for more than 4-6 months, it's not just a crush anymore, it's "love". But does it still count as "love" when you've never really talked to that person, but you've liked them for about 10 months?

I don’t believe in that quote in the slightest. Lasting in a relationship for five months as opposed to three doesn’t automatically mean you’re in love. Just like only lasting a month doesn’t mean you’re in love. Or even three years. Time does not define love. A crush can last for years without turning into anything else as easily as it is to fall completely in love with someone over the course of two mere months. The only way to measure love is by just knowing. You know when you’re in love. Not because you’ve liked them for a whole four months, but because you know it. You don’t think you’re in love, or believe you might be in love, you know, 100% that you are in love.
