It’s difficult to wake up in the mornings
Especially when those mornings are spent without you
It’s impossible to meet or greet anyone
Especially when everyone I see I get reminded too
How am I even expected to eat or drink anything
When whatever I try consuming has lost all taste
Or all these nights I spend alone
Without you, I feel like my life is slowly becoming a waste
When will the mornings come
When my first waking sight will be your beautiful eyes
When will the days come, when it’ won’t just be me walking alone
But I’ll always have you by my side
