Hey guys, this is my Mommy. Lilibeth Jumanan Santos. She is the strongest woman I know. As of right now, you work two jobs from 4am-6pm 5 days a week, which is why it’s hard to see you. I wish we could hang out after work, but most of the time you’re tired. Can’t blame you. You think working two jobs for that long is hard? Try driving yourself to the hospital with a broken foot. That sht’s hard- yet still not the worst we’ve been through.
The most difficult time in our lives was when we found out my mommy had breast cancer. I didn’t know much. All I knew was, my mom had to go to the doctor often. She had to take medicine that made her sleepy so she wouldn’t feel pain. She had to go through chemotherapy- a painful process. As the weeks of chemotherapy passed, my mommy’s hair slowly began to go away. I didn’t know why. I didn’t think about how bad it had impacted her. I remember when you had to buy a cute wig to wear to parties and what-not. I thought you looked pretty either way. Thank the Lord Jesus Christ that we still have you. Thank God I can call my mom a “Survivor.”
Mommy, I know sometimes I can act like poop and be annoying, but I will always love you with ALLLL my heart. Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to have such a great mom. You have more “swag” than everyone who thinks they do.
I love you mommy.
