A mess of curls and drunk eyes and a costume rendering me absolutely speechless as I had no idea what you were supposed to be. You came closer and I tried to pretend that you were just like any other guy all the while trying to ignore my pounding heart that was beating so loud I was sure my friend beside me could hear it. I’ve never met anyone like you, never felt emotions that I felt for you within the first hour with anyone else. Minutes turned into hours turned into day after day of talking, learning who you were, telling you who I was, all the while becoming more sure of who that even was.
