My parents met at fifteen years old. My mother never tried a drug in her life and was planning to go to beauty school, my dad was a homeless drug addict that dropped out of high school. They dated for two weeks and when my dad gave her a promise ring, she nearly broke up with him. But for some reason, somehow, they stayed together. They’ve been married for over 25 years now, together even longer. They’ve had sex with one person their entire life. I think it’s amazing to see what people from two completely different worlds can become when they put trust in one another.
