So, I’ve searched clinics and hospitals in Manila from the Internet for my sister’s birthmark removal on her face. I’ve contacted each clinic I saw in Google. There was this one doctor replied to my query.
Greetings and thank you for your inquiry. The birthmark of your sister is called a hairy nevus. Yes I have done birthmark removal before, but none as wide as the hairy nevus of your sister. However the basic surgical principles remain the same, and I will explain it in more detail below.
I studied the photos you sent, and the best way to remove this birthmark is surgery. Lasers will not help. However the problem will be the coverage of the area after removal of the hairy nevus. But thanks to advances in tissue expander implants, we can actually expand the normal skin in front of the ear, above the jaw and the right side of her neck in order to have the extra skin needed to cover the ensuing defect after removal of the hairy nevus.Your sister will require multiple surgeries. The first surgery will involve surgical placement of the tissue expander implants under the skin. After 3-4 weeks, the tissue expanders will be inflated with saline solutions injected into the corresponding ports. The process of tissue expansion is a gradual one; it will require saline injections into the implant at least twice a week, until fully inflated.Once the expanders have been fully inflated and the normal skin expanded, the second surgery will involve removal of the tissue expanders, excision of the hairy nevus and rotation of the expanded skin into the area where the hairy nevus was removed. If the expanded skin is not enough, I may have to harvest skin grafts from other areas to cover the defects.A third surgery may or may not be needed, depending on the results of the second surgery. You will need to be aware that surgical revisions may be needed at a later time to improve on the results of the previous surgeries. As to the cost of treatment, I will first need to find out what is the present cost of the tissue expander implants from the distributor, since these implants have to be ordered from Europe.
But the thing is, he haven’t done surgery same on my sister’s case. I have this nervous feeling that my sister might be a trial-and-error surgery and I don’t want to happen that. I want the best for her.
Please help me spread this post through reblogging. Maybe there’s someone out there who knows a clinic, hospital, or a doctor who can help my sister. You’re a BIG HELP if you do.
She’s pretty right? I know she is.

The best thing about having a sister was that I always had a friend.
