Well, if he’s showing signs and giving you hints like that, you could always bluntly not return his flirting. Or, you could always clarify with him and ask if he means more than friends.

However, he’s very friendly and open towards me. We joke around and he often says “I love you” to me as a joke. You shouldn’t “get him to ask you out sooner.” If you want him to ask you out, ask him out! There are so many good things that could come out of you asking him out yourself anyway. One of the most attractive things about a girl/guy is confidence, and that’s definitely a sure way to show your confident. If you’re not sure he likes you though, you could always tell him you like him first. That will give him the confidence to tell you he likes you back, if he does. :)

I wanted to ask for advice. I think I may like this guy, but he used to like someone else. I dont know whether hes over it, or whether I should even try to make a move. I dont know how to do that either xD Please give me advice! :)
If he’s not over it, you’ll be able to tell when you make your move. Usually if he’s really hesitant and acts completely not interested, then he is still going after the other girl/guy. Also, making a move is not as hard as it sounds! Striking up a conversation is pretty easy and doesn’t take a lot of effort. What I find works best is to start with compliments. “I like your shirt” or “Hey, I used to have the same phone as you!” (that one’s not really a compliment…) You know, just things that will easily open up a conversation and get him to respond to you. :)
