Bookends - Simon & Garfunkel

A luminous ray of light teared through the stormy clouds and shined directly in our eyes. Deep in those blue portals to your soul, all I saw was innocence, all I felt was harmony. Raindrops were slowly trickling down our faces as we performed a waltz in the pouring rain. It was all smiles, laughs, playful glances, and long captivating gazes. Caressing each others hands as we gently swayed across the wet ground below our feet.
