You have a point. I really haven’t noticed that ever before (probably because I’m bisexual, so no matter what it says, it always applies to me). “The right person” would make more sense, now that I think about it. Girls are more openly hopeless romantics than guys generally are, so I think that’s why it usually says “the right guy” and why most of those quotes are written by girls.

It depends. How old are you guys? How long have you been together? If you are both old enough and have been together for a long time, then I can see this as being a problem. However, if you both are still young and haven’t been together for too long, then I don’t think this should worry you. If it still bothers you though, you could always do what I’ve thought about doing when I get married. My boyfriend and I have different “religions” also, and I’ve decided that I don’t want to get married in a church at all. I don’t think I’ve run it by him yet, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to get married in a Church either. I think you just need to explore your options a little. :)
