I notice that in today’s society, everyone is always so fixated on their negative attributes. I, for one, am definitely guilty of this. So, I have started to do a daily five, where I write five things I hate about myself, and change it into something good. After all, there’s always a good side and bad side to everything; it’s always a matter of perspective. Today’s five is:
1. I hate how I have so much fat in my lower abdominal area but I love how it defines my waist and looks nice when I wear a belt with a loose shirt.
2. I hate how I have so much pimples on my forehead, but I love how it’s in a place that I can easily cover up with my bangs when going out.
3. I hate how my feet have such dry, tough skin, but I love how it’s not my face, and it does kinda help when I’m walking barefoot on the hot gravel.
4. I hate how I snort when I laugh, but I love how it makes others laugh with me during awkward moments.
5. I hate how my nose is really flat, but I love how it when I’m distressed and wants to just flop down on my bed and sleep on my belly, I won’t squish my nose.
&I would like to challenge everyone else to try to start loving themselves, too. :)
