Today, my friends kept on going off about how “they hate gay people.” I found it completely ignorant because they wouldn’t stop bashing on them. First of all, hate is a strong word. Cliche, but true. You can’t “hate” people you never met before based on one detail about them. Second of all, it’s not their fault that they’re gay. People are born that way and they will like who they want to like. Love doesn’t have to be between a man and a woman. No one ever said that. Love is a beautiful thing and can be between anyone - it doesn’t matter.
People who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual can’t hurt you. They are normal human beings just like you. Most of them don’t even want to be that way because of the way society judges them. So please, open your minds and your hearts. Love all, and you will be loved back.
